Aster is a privacy-focused decentralized exchange, offering perpetual markets on crypto, stocks and commodities, and more commonly known as a perp DEX.

Why Aster?

Most perp DEXs make a trade-off you don't see until it costs you. On fully transparent platforms, every order, position size, and liquidation level is visible to anyone watching the chain. That information has value to other market participants, and they use it. Position hunting – where traders coordinate to push the market against a visible liquidation – has cost traders hundreds of millions of dollars. It's not a bug in how these platforms are run. It's a consequence of how they're built.

Aster is built to remove that dynamic. Every order is encrypted before it reaches the chain, decrypted only at execution, and never exposed in the order book. Your position size, entry point, and liquidation level stay yours. Privacy is the default.

This runs on Aster Chain, our own L1 built for private perps trading: 100,000+ transactions per second, 50ms block latency. The performance serious traders expect from a centralised exchange, with the self-custody and verifiability that only a DEX can offer.
