Arc is a tokenized ecosystem designed to unify and accelerate innovation in the rapidly evolving world of agentic AI. It emerged from the insight that as artificial intelligence expands beyond basic chat interactions, there is a pressing need for developers, enterprises, and users to have an integrated, economically viable way to create, access, and monetize advanced AI agents (and the services they use).

Two complementary pillars support Arc’s vision: an open-source Rust-based AI framework called Rig, and Playgrounds, the team and commercial engine behind both Rig and the Arc ecosystem. Rig acts as the technical backbone, offering a high-performance foundation for building next-generation agents that can handle complex tasks in real time. In this paper, we explore how Arc is evolving to meet these demands. We revisit the concept of agentic AI, trace the limitations that keep AI from reaching its full potential, and then introduce Ryzome, a universal “agentic app store” built on the Arc foundation. Ryzome extends Arc’s mission by connecting AI agents to both Web2 and Web3 digital services and enabling seamless payment flows through the Arc token.
